Parasakthi starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan and Atharvaa, is set for a Pongal release. Directed by Sudha Kongara and the film features Sreeleela as the female lead with music composed by G.V. Prakash. A grand set was built at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai where the film’s launch event was held.
Speaking at the event Ravi Mohan said Parasakthi is a special film in his career. He said that he felt nervous on the day one of shoot but the positive atmosphere on set gave him confidence.
He thanked director Sudha Kongara for helping him fit naturally into the story and praised producer Aakash Bhaskaran for bringing three lead actors together.
Ravi spoke fondly about Atharvaa calling his role very likable and praised Sivakarthikeyan for his energy and teamwork.
He said he was proud to be part of SK’s 25th film and hoped the movie would give Sreeleela a strong identity.
